Anycubic has introduced the Photon Mono 4 series of 3D printers, consisting of two models: the Mono 4 and the Mono 4 Ultra. Both printers have a build volume of 153.4 x 87 x 165 mm and a 10K LCD display with an XY resolution of 17 x 17 μm.

According to Anycubic, the Mono 4 achieves print speeds of about 50 mm/h with standard resins and 70 mm/h with high-speed resins. This is enabled by the LightTurbo matrix light source, which achieves light uniformity of 80-90%. The printer is controlled via a 2.8-inch touchscreen, and files are transferred via USB. The price is $189.
The Photon Mono 4 Ultra is an enhanced version of the Mono 4. It uses a COB light source and a "Light Uniformity Algorithm" that increases light uniformity to over 90%, improving accuracy. The Mono 4 Ultra is also faster, with print speeds up to 80 mm/h with standard resins and 120 mm/h with high-speed resins.
Additionally, the Mono 4 Ultra offers some premium features compared to the Mono 4, such as a larger 4.3-inch touchscreen and an ACF cover film for faster layer changes. Files can be transferred via USB, Wi-Fi, the Anycubic app, and LAN, with the latter becoming available later.
Both printers are compatible with a separately available activated carbon air purifier.
The launch of the Photon Mono 4 series coincides with Anycubic's 9-year anniversary celebrations, featuring discounts and bundle offers on many of the company's printers and materials.
