SUNLU PA6-CF Black is a high-quality 3D printing filament made of nylon (PA6), reinforced with 20% carbon fibers. This material combination provides exceptional mechanical strength, excellent heat resistance, and dimensional accuracy – ideal for demanding industrial applications.
The filament delivers clean, matte surfaces, excellent layer adhesion, and minimal warping, allowing for consistently professional print results.

Material advantages

The combination of nylon and carbon fiber offers significant advantages for functional and structural components. Carbon fibers increase tensile strength and stiffness while reducing warping, which often occurs with unreinforced nylon. The finished parts impress with a refined, matte appearance and are both mechanically durable and visually high-quality.
With proper tempering, the material can withstand temperatures up to 209 °C – ideal for high-temperature applications.

Printing & processing instructions

  • Nozzle temperature: 270–290 °C

  • Print bed: 50–70 °C

  • Print speed: 50–150 mm/s (depending on geometry)

  • For maximum strength and heat resistance, temper parts for 5–12 h at 80–130 °C

  • For optimal adhesion, a PVA glue stick or Magigoo PA is recommended

  • Thoroughly dry before use (24 h at 80 °C or 4 h at 110 °C)

Since carbon fibers are abrasive, using a hardened nozzle is mandatory to avoid wear.
