The SUNLU AMS Heater is an innovative drop-in upgrade for the first-generation Bambu Lab AMS. It replaces the original top cover, enabling simultaneous filament drying and printing – without additional space or external devices. In just 20 minutes, the heater evenly reaches 70 °C and ensures optimal printing conditions with precise moisture control.


Seamless integration

The AMS Heater is simply mounted in place of the existing AMS cover – without modification or tools. Installation is completed in just two minutes. The result: a perfectly integrated system that blends seamlessly into the AMS both visually and functionally.


Simultaneous drying & printing

With the SUNLU AMS Heater, you can actively dry your filament during printing.
Moisture in the material is continuously removed, preventing stringing, bubbling, and uneven extrusion. This allows you to benefit from consistently high print quality, especially with hygroscopic materials like nylon, TPU, or PETG.


Fast, even heating

The PTC-based heating unit reaches a stable temperature of 70 °C in about 20 minutes.
A dual airflow system ensures even heat distribution throughout the interior – without local overheating or risk of deformation. This allows all inserted spools to dry simultaneously and efficiently.


Intelligent moisture control

Thanks to integrated sensors, the AMS Heater continuously monitors temperature and humidity.
In standard mode ("RH mode"), it maintains 55 °C for up to six hours.
If the humidity drops below 20%, the system automatically shuts off – if it rises above 50%, it restarts automatically.
Alternatively, the target humidity between 25% and 50% can be individually set, depending on material type and ambient climate.


Compact & efficient solution

With its clever design, the AMS Heater remains compact and stackable:
It supports up to 16 filament spools stacked without additional space requirements.
This makes it ideal for workshops and production environments where order and efficiency are required.

  • PTC heating technology (self-limiting temperature)

  • Thermostatic safety switch (shuts off above 115 °C)
