About the revised version

The Slice Engineering Mosquito™ Magnum Hotend has been redesigned and now offers improved heat break and an optimized heat sink with innovative features. The new heat break has a reinforced neck and a redesigned radiator that prevents damage during installation or repair. It is also equipped with the same WS2 anti-stick coating used on our Vanadium™ nozzles to further enhance performance with PLA. The new heat sink has a wider opening for the filament path to better handle spliced filament from multi-material setups like the Prusa MMU or Mosaic Palette.

The old heat breaks and heat sinks are not compatible with the new ones. However, customers who want to upgrade can retrofit their Mosquito™ Hotend with the new features by purchasing both the heat sink and the heat break.

The versatility of the Mosquito

The Mosquito Hotend is adaptable to almost any printer. By replacing a single component, you benefit from the high-performance features of a printer that would cost thousands of euros. Since the Mosquito (for aesthetics) and the Mosquito Magnum (for speed) have the same length, these hotends can be easily mounted on the same carriage. This allows you to switch between high flow and high precision in the same print.

And yes, you can change the nozzle with one hand.

Anyone who says, "Sorry, I can't do a GoT marathon with you on Saturday, I'm doing a big print," obviously doesn't have the Mosquito Magnum Hotend, which completes projects 20% faster than other high-throughput hotends on the market. Reinterpretation of the hotend

We have completely rethought the design and structure of a hotend from the ground up. The materials in every part of the Mosquito Magnum were carefully selected to fulfill a specific task and optimize your printer's performance. We even used the same insulating materials NASA uses for their Space Shuttle to protect the hotend's extended melt zone.
