Prima SELECT NylonPower PA 6/66 – High-quality PA6/66 3D printing filament

PrimaCreator's NylonPower PA 6/66 is a special co-polymer blend filament for 3D printers that optimally combines the strengths of PA 6 and PA 66. This blend makes our nylon very easy to process. Compared to conventional nylon, which is often difficult to print, NylonPower allows better adhesion to the print bed and can be used at lower printing temperatures. This material is suitable for the most common FFF/FDM 3D printers.

Tips for optimal 3D printing with nylon filament

When 3D printing with nylon, a heated print bed should be used. For the best adhesion, we recommend using Magigoo PA. The temperature should be set to 60-80°C.

Special material properties of nylon & tips for processing

Nylon is very hygroscopic, which means it absorbs liquids. This can be advantageous if you want to dye your filament. At the same time, it is important to dry the nylon before use. Set the oven to 70-80°C and let the filament dry for 4-8 hours. The longer you dry it, the better the final result will be both visually and in terms of performance.
