Regular brass nozzles are often recommended because they have excellent thermal conductivity. However, they also have their disadvantages: when using abrasive materials such as carbon or glowing filaments, brass nozzles wear out quickly. A hardened steel nozzle is more durable but not optimal for daily use, as its thermal conductivity is not comparable to that of brass nozzles.

All PrimaCreator Ruby Nozzles are made from the best high-quality brass with a genuine ruby tip. They are manufactured in a state-of-the-art factory, with all nozzles produced to a tolerance of less than ± 0.01 mm. This ensures that your filament has a very smooth and clear surface when extruded, leading to better print results.

For optimal print quality, we strongly recommend re-leveling your print bed after switching to a new nozzle. Note that a PrimaCreator nozzle may be compatible with your printer, but the distance between the nozzle and the print bed must be adjusted.

The manufacturing process of a PrimaCreator nozzle begins with the selection of high-quality materials. Upon arrival at the factory, an optical inspection of the material is performed for each batch. Then the material is formed into a long rod. This process is done only once, unlike many cheaper alternatives where this step must be repeated multiple times, often 3-4 times, without achieving the same results.

After this process, the material undergoes an ultrasonic cleaning bath and is then cleaned again and protected against surface oxidation.

The nozzle is now shaped with millimeter precision, with a tolerance of less than ± 0.01 mm. Removing sharp edges is an important step, as this greatly affects the result. Too many sharp edges can make the nozzle more prone to clogging. Therefore, it is crucial that the nozzle is very smooth and clean before use. In each batch, some nozzles are selected and cut in half to ensure all specifications are met and the surface is in perfect condition.

The nozzles are then checked one last time and individually packed in a protective box – ready to be shipped to you.
