PrimaCreator premium nozzles are a series of replacement nozzles that can make a significant difference in print quality. A high-quality nozzle is like a sharp pencil – it is crucial for a great print.

High Quality

All PrimaCreator nozzles are made of high-quality brass or steel (depending on the type) and are manufactured in a modern factory. The tolerance is less than ± 0.01 mm, which means your filament receives a very smooth and clear surface when extruded, leading to better print results.

After this process, the material undergoes an ultrasonic cleaning bath and is then cleaned again and protected against surface oxidation. The nozzle is shaped with millimeter precision, with a tolerance of less than ± 0.01 mm.

Removing sharp edges from the nozzles is an important step, as it accounts for a large part of the result. Too many sharp edges can make the nozzle more prone to clogging. Therefore, it is crucial that the nozzle is very smooth and clean before use. In each batch, some nozzles are selected and cut in half to ensure all specifications are met and the surface is in perfect condition.

The nozzles are then checked one last time and individually packed in a protective box – ready for shipping to you.

Recommendations

For the best results and optimal print quality, we strongly recommend re-leveling your build plate after switching to a new nozzle. Please note that a PrimaCreator nozzle may be compatible with your printer, but the distance between the nozzle and the build plate needs to be adjusted.

The manufacturing process

The production of a PrimaCreator nozzle begins with the selection of high-quality material. Upon arrival at the factory, the material undergoes an initial visual inspection, which is used for each batch of nozzles. Then the material is clamped and formed into a long rod. In our process, this happens only once, whereas in many other (cheaper) cases this process must be repeated several times, often up to 3-4 times, without achieving the same results.

Please check the serial number of your K1 and K1 Max. If it ends with 23, the nozzle fits. If it ends with 24, the nozzle does not fit.
