Easy to process thanks to high Shore hardness

With a Shore hardness of 95A, EasyPrint FLEX TPU is very user-friendly. It is excellent for processing with most 3D printers, including Bowden setup printers like Ultimaker or BCN3D Sigma, without requiring a DirectDrive extruder.

Versatile applications with "Semi-Flex" filament

The "Semi-Flex" formula allows you to control the flexibility of your 3D prints through the internal infill. For flexible, easily foldable structures, print with less infill. With higher infill, you get a firmer rubber structure. Use EasyPrint FLEX TPU for a variety of applications, such as bicycle grips, shock absorbers, rubber seals, and shoe soles. The filament has an enormous elongation at break of 400%.

Low material shrinkage - less warping

Thanks to very low material shrinkage, EasyPrint FLEX TPU is easy to process with all FDM/FFF printers. It shows only a slight tendency to warp. For larger prints and optimal results, we recommend a heated print bed with a temperature of 40-60 °C and a coating with PrimaFIX for excellent first layer adhesion.

Proper storage of TPU filament

Please note that TPU is hygroscopic and tends to absorb water. Therefore, store it airtight and moisture-protected in a closed container or bag with a desiccant. If your TPU filament ever becomes damp, you can dry it for about 1 hour at 70 °C in the oven. After that, the filament is like new again and can be processed.

Tips for optimal 3D printing results with TPU filament

  • Low print speed of 15-30 mm/s
  • Use a heated print bed if possible
  • Always store your filament dry
