E3D High Flow ObXidian Creality Unicorn Nozzle
The high-quality, high-flow Unicorn nozzles are the result of an official collaboration between E3D and Creality. They are specially designed for use with the 3D printers K1C, K1 Max, Ender 3 V3/Plus, and Ender 3 V3 KE/SE.
Superior thermal performance
These nozzles feature an integrated metal nozzle and HeatBreak, providing excellent thermal performance. This prevents thermal burnout and filament leaks. Additionally, the nozzles are designed for a quick and easy nozzle change in under 5 minutes.
High flow performance for fast and abrasive printing
E3D's unique internal multi-channel design divides the filament path into four separate channels, significantly increasing the contact area with the filament. This improvement leads to a higher volumetric flow rate, allowing the nozzles to achieve a maximum flow rate of up to 45 mm³/s, supporting fast printing at 600 mm/s.
This means you can expect more reliable and consistent extrusion at the same speeds or increase the volumetric flow limit in the slicer to fully exploit the capabilities of the motion systems.
Abrasion resistance
With abrasion resistance many times higher than other E3D nozzles, ObXidian is extremely durable and thus the perfect nozzle for printing abrasive or filled polymers. This is achieved by combining a hardened steel insert with our E3DLC™ coating. This specially formulated coating also gives the nozzle non-stick properties, leading to significantly less plastic buildup around the nozzle.
Improved layer adhesion
In high-speed printing, visual and functional aspects are often sacrificed for speed. These nozzles, however, maintain interlayer adhesion strength even at higher speeds, resulting in proper filament surface and stable parts for functional applications.
Quad-metal construction
To reduce the risk of heat transfer, these nozzles feature a titanium HeatBreak with a sharp thermal gradient that ensures the cold side stays cool while the hot side remains hot.
